| Actually it's Collin McRae DiRT 2 as he is still the fundator of the game. Even if he is now dead, the editor chose to keep his name. | |

| OMG I've just checked the Natal Project video and it's awesome after all ! Your entire body is recognized by the camera, and the sensibility is amazing (according what the journalists reported). For exemple you can drive a car by simulating the wheel and the speed pedal, which is quite fun. + you can also play to all of the other games, as the camera can scan everything, and navigate on the interface... If it doesn't cost 150 €, I'll probably get it to play with friends or family | |

| But the accuracy is bullshit, and response time, and thats all that matters for such things.. and Natal hasnt got that... from what ive seen. | |

| Yeah that's your problem... you're only judging according what you see. But I'll make my own opinion as all the journalists said that this tool is really amazing. Btw it has been developed by an Israelian elite company, specialised in virtual reality technologies. Actually, the Natal is an IR camera, which means that it is transmiting monochromatic waves in every direction. Then, those waves are reflected by your body (just as the light), which causes a change of frequency that the module can analyse to determinate your exact position. It's just a simple application of the doppler effect, like the radars on the road, so don't tell me that accuracy is shit, as it is far more advanced than a Wiimote. Ah ! I forgot ! An IR wave is moving at the speed of light (~300 000 km/s), so let's make a little operation : We can admit that you're sitting, for exemple, 10 meters away from your televisionT=10/3.10^8 T=3.33.10^-8 second, which means that the wave will need less than 1/10 of a microsecond to leave and come back to the module. Then, an analogic-digital converter will be used to transform that signal, so that the Xbox can read the information, which is done between 1ms and 1µs... Finally, we can say that the response time will only be limited by the maximum flow of the 360, which is high enough to receive the signal........immediately. Another question ? | |

| Well, the TV had a shit response time then.. still, what I've seen is shit compared to the PS3 controller. And to play without any controller is kinda bad... | |

| What you've seen is just a demonstration video, which is not representative of the real product.
And actually the principe of the Natal is that your body is the controller, that's why I prefer it rather than the Wii. But you can for exemple use a fake wheel if you don't like simulating it with your hands, as the camera will still recognize your moves. | |
