Some publicity for Sony + Talking about language + French communication topic

My ps3 will be repaired free of charge. I am also very happy about the great and friendly communication with the two persons who I have spoken too. Very polite and very helpfull.

My warrantee expired but as long as you have your bill of payment, they will fix it for free in Belgium.

Stuff like this definately increase my loyalty to brands.

Well this requires very strong (psychologically speaking) persons. From 9 to 5 they have to endure sometimes insultive conversations and suffer a huge amount of stress. Although a company should focus on finding these persons because the best thing you can do is make your customers happy by making them feel that you care about them. This will cause them to spread the word = best advertising you can get + great for your image. And this just by being friendly, which is as expensive to a company as the agressive persons they sometimes employ.

The brother in law of my girlfriend runs the customer service of one of the biggest companies concerning internet & telephone in Belgium. I had a nice talk with him about running a center like that.

If companies are doing that it's mostly because India (and other developing countries) are very cheap & qualified in term of Services, but also because European people will generally not insult on phone a person who just barely talks their language.

Now I'm really surprised to see your story as Sony was known not to be so friendly on phone, but if you got your ps3 repaired, that's the most important.

Both had a noticable Belgian accent and were as fluent as me so I believe they were located in Belgium, a rare thing indeed. :p

I'm waiting to really aclaim my first post till I have my ps3 back safe and sound.

I had a 'telephone' conversation in French last friday + cod-coi test.. Luckily the points of French are put together with those from English. xD

If I don't know a word in French, I just take the English word and rape it into French. Exchange -> échange e.g. :d

Unfortunately, it doesn't work with every word.
French to Spanish translations are easier : you take a french word and you add "o" or "a" at the end.

problème -> problema
planter -> plantar
contrat - > contrato
..........
