COD MW2

Well thought i would make a thread on this game seen as it hasnt already been made yet, game has high hopes and not long left until release, but i have heard their is a BETA coming out very soon anyone got any news on that time,date etc?

And any extra information to give us a better picture of the all new MW2 =D

Well, I havn't heard of a beta soon, only that there maybe will be a beta. But, MW2 will have snow maps!! As you hear russians, and I think you can see winter cloth soldiers on the trailers ( I think? )

But there are also oilrig maps!

Sounds gudd man, snow maps =P game soundes immense, their is a BETA soon because sum guy on CG posted a thread about it.

I hope they release it on the PS3 then. Remember the Cod:WaW beta was only on the 360?

Yehh i know =[ but its about time we got a decent game to our screens man all the other games after COD4 have been wank.

All games after BF2:MC have been wank (well CoD4 can piss you off, but it's a good game) Killzone 2 raped all other games at the begin, but then began to be boring.

Trust me mate, if they would release a game like BF2:MC, PS3 would immediately (sp?) be active. Game never get's old (well now it got old )

maybe, i didnt enjoy Battle field thought it was crap.

Battlefield is my favourite game series (FPS), really if they would stick to MC / BF2 (pc) style, Battlefield would dominate the FPS series.

But with time they are getting more shit.

BF2 is the best of the battlefields, but the console episodes are getting strange, that's right...
And I'm not sure that BC2 will be so different compared to the previous one.

Anyway, as CoD4 was a pure ownage game 2 years ago, MW2 will probably be as exciting.

But BF2:MC that wasn't dissapointing, it's one of the best games made in my opinion (not graphically). Should they continue do BF2/BF2:MC like games, this would be a hit.

Take a look at S:C, not as good as the previous socom's (that's what I hear from the hardcore fans)

So games are getting more shit and shit, hopefully MW2 makes something good so developers can follow or just make it like in the old days.

Yeah I'll tell you when I get the Beta on 360 xD

Socom is good, but the publics are crap. If you die, you have to wait fucking lots before you respawn.

And I heard PS3 is the main system for MW2 somewhere, not sure though. Let's just hope the beta releases on PS3 aswell.

Just check every game preview on the net : they're always tested with a 360, as programming on it is easier.

Yes, but developers are dumb. Sony wanted something new, so that's why it's harder to develop a game on the PS3. And I mean like wtf, try something new instead of the same thing all the time.

The PS3 is very powerful, if developers would turn to PS3 instead, imagine what games they could make.

Look at MGS4, it was only made for PS3. That game would never be able to run on a 360 as it wouldn't handle the game.

MGS4 graphics are really good, but they're not much better than Bioshock or even Splinter Cell Double Agent, which had really good textures.
The fact that PS3 is twice more powerful than 360 doesn't mean you'll have better graphics : your console is a massive box with the latest components on the market, but it is slow. Xbox 360 is equiped with older components but its arqitecture is better...

Take a Mercedes Class S and a Lotus Elise : the first one has more horses than the second, but in final, when you make a 1000m race, the result is the same...

Developers have made a lot of exclusive PS3 games, but they have never been much better than 360's : why ? Because the Playstation 3 simply can't... End of the debate.

I'm kinda sony fanboy yer, I had all their systems except PSP.

But yes it's slow sometimes, but newer components makes better games. Even though it's harder. And PS3 exclusives are good, wtf you on about!

But man, if I'm buying the ps3, it's not because I had a PS1, a PS2 and a PSP : there are just games I like and wanna play.
I will get it for sure when I have time, but I still think that 360 is better.

No, that's what I've heard from the people on CG.

Yeah that's the problem dude, if you only act according what people say, you won't do many things.
I can tell you that the online level on 360 is really high, as you have to pay for it. Of course there are some 10 years old kids, but once you mute their headset it's ok
