| Personnally, my situation is a bit hard to explain because there is no equivalent in Great Britain or in the US (or everywhere else in fact^^), but I'm a high school graduate for 2 years now and I've been following a sort of training scheme in a specialized college (I'm a 2nd year student) since that date, in order to get accepted in an engineering school.
So what do I do ? -> mathematics (9 or 10 hours a week) -> physics (9 hours a week) -> chemistry (6 hours a week) -> and a bit of english and french
As you can see my weeks are full of miscellaneous^^
And what do I do next ? I have only 3 weeks remaining now to master all these subjects before taking 4 different exams. One of these exams really interests me because I could obtain the school I have always dreamt of (if I pass it of course). Now if I fail I still have the possibility to repeat my current school year, in order to get something better next year (if it is the case, I won't be in TM before that date).
So as you can guess, I will really have to play the hard-working scholar during the next weeks if I wanna achieve my objectives...

| An engineering school, that's pretty hard at that kind of level. What kind of engineer do you want to be? In Belgium, the hardest study -literally translated- is Citizen Engineer. :-) Folowwed my biochemical engineer and then by law's. | |

| I'm interested in Public Construction, that's to say bridges, roads, buildings and every other kind of infrastrucutre. There is a very good school which is specialized in that in Paris, so if I get it, it's gonna be during the whole summer... | |

| Is the army service obligatory in Austria ? Because it's not the case anymore in France. We just have to assist to a fucking conference about citizen rights with the army during 1 day, and then we're done with the state ^^ | |

There is a very good school which is specialized in that in Paris, so if I get it, it's gonna be during the whole summer... I wish you the best of luck in that mate. As long as you really want it, you will be likely to succeed. :-)

We just have to assist to a fucking conference about citizen rights with the army during 1 day, and then we're done with the state ^^ Yes it is, theres conscription meaning every male person gotta do a 6-month-lasting army service. If u refuse to act with weapons theres an optional 9-month-lasting social service.
